Private dining & Event Booking

Terms & Conditions

Thank you for choosing Ember Steakhouse for your private dining or special event. We are delighted to host you and aim to provide an exceptional experience for you and your guests.

Please read the following terms and conditions carefully. By confirming your booking, you agree to comply with these terms.

    • All private dining and event bookings are subject to a non-refundable deposit, payable at the time of confirmation.

    • The deposit amount and minimum spend requirement will be confirmed at the time of booking and is dependent on the date, time, and size of the event.

    • The minimum spend applies to food and beverages only and excludes discretionary service charges unless otherwise stated.

    • Any shortfall between the final bill and the agreed minimum spend will be charged accordingly.

    • Cancellations made 7 days or more prior to the event date will result in the loss of the deposit only.

    • Cancellations made within 7 days of the event may be charged up to the full minimum spend, at the discretion of management.

    • Failure to attend or late cancellation without notice will be treated as a no-show and charged at 100% of the minimum spend.

    • Final guest numbers must be confirmed at least 72 hours prior to the event.

    • This confirmed number will be used for staffing, preparation, and billing purposes and cannot be reduced after this point.

    • Significant increases in guest numbers without prior agreement may result in refusal of entry where space, safety, or service standards are compromised.

    • We reserve the right to refuse entry or service to any guest who appears intoxicated or “under the influence,” in line with the Licensing Act 2003.

    • Alcohol will not be served to any individual who has been refused service, and this may impact the continuation of the event.

    • Ember Steakhouse operates a strict Challenge 25 policy.

    • Valid, in-date, physical photo ID (passport or driving licence) must be provided upon request.

    • Digital or photocopied ID will not be accepted.

    • No Drugs: Any unlawful behaviour associated with your booking may result in immediate termination of the event and notification of local authorities.

    • Staff Abuse: We operate a zero-tolerance policy towards verbal or physical abuse of staff. Any such behaviour may result in immediate termination of the booking.

    • No external food or drink may be brought onto the premises without prior written approval from management.

    • This includes celebration cakes. Approved items may be subject to a cakeage fee.

    • Unapproved items will not be permitted for consumption on the premises.

    • All decorations must be pre-approved by management.

    • Confetti, glitter, or table scatters are strictly prohibited.

    • Decorations must be appropriate to the venue and may not include explicit, offensive, or unsafe materials.

    • Failure to comply may result in removal of items or cancellation of the event without refund.

  • Ember Steakhouse reserves the right to amend or enforce these terms where necessary to ensure safety, service quality, and compliance with UK regulations.
